Ourika Valley
The Ourika valley is nestled in the mountains of the Atlas range. Located south of Marrakech, the road to this valley crosses the plain of Haouz.We pause en route at the enchanted Anima Garden, which was built from nothing by Austrian artist André Heller. You have the opportunity to stroll along shaded pathways lined with priceless trees, bushes, and lovely flowers here. As you walk, you come across sculptures by Picasso and other famous artists. There are plenty of secret places to reflect, and from a distance, you have a stunning views of the Atlas Mountains. This beautiful valley is a hiking destination and a place to rest long appreciated by the people of Marrakech. The outcrop of the peaks falls between reddish side where villages and cultivated terraces cling boldly . The crystal clear and abundant waters of the Ourika's current through rocks and wind through small meadows where the grass remains green even in the heat of summer. Continuing on through the valley for another 7 km, you reach Setti Fatma which remains the most attractive place of this valley. The atmosphere and unique scenery will surely impress you!
