6-DAYS ATLAS & DUNES

ITINERARY

Departure at around 7 :30 am in 4×4 to the Tichka pass, (detour by Telouet if possible)

Ait Benhadou, Ouarzazate, Agdz and Drâa valley

From Marrakech, we drive up to the Tichka Pass in a zigzag mountain road with beautiful scenery. Lunch at Ait Benhadou, Ignda hostel or similar hotel.

Dinner and overnight at in hostel of charm in Agdz, Dar Qamar.( Lunch and dinner )

5h30 of driving approximately (if detour by Telouet =+1:00 hour)

Day 2: Agdz to Tafraout

Departure at around 8:00 am. Visit of the old village of Tamnagolte. Road to Tansikht. Road towards Tazzarine and Oum Jrane. Off-road to Rich Sidi Ali. And Tafraout des Ait Khabach. Lunch in the hostel.

After noon touring in Jbel Zireg between red sand and blue rocks. One of the nicest and Wildest spot on the Moroccan Sahara Desert.

Night in the hostel in Tafraout

4h30 of driving on road and dust tracks + 1 to 3 hours of hiking.

(Breakfast lunch dinner )

Day 3: Tafraout to Erg Znaigui

Off-road to Qued Rheris, village of Remlia and red dunes of Iferd n’Ouargh.

Off-road Ouzina and Taouz, off-road to the dunes of the erg Znaigui and to the sunset. Possibly to go on a camel ride 1 to 2 hours see supplement.

Dinner and overnight at the camp. facing the largest dunes in Morocco.

3h30 of driving dust road and off-road + 1 to 3 hours of hiking.

Day 4: Road to Erfoud.

Crossing of Erfoud and road to Tinerhir, Boulmane, the valley of Dades (valley of roses) and the valley of Mgoun. Lunch on the way in a restaurant. Visit Kasbah Khorbat in Tinejdad or other to Boulmane.

Dinner and overnight at Kasbah Iswan at Tabaracht, small hostel in the valley of Mgoun

5h30 of driving.

Day 5: Departure to Bou trarar and Alemdoun

hiking in the gorges of the Oued Ait Ahmed, and the village of earth in the valley. This will take you in the heart of the Atlas mountains.

Lunch in a small restaurant or in a Kasbah, or picnic.

Dinner and night in Skoura : L’ma Lodge
